Statement from Oxford SU VP Welfare and Equal Opportunities, Keisha Asare

"I have made the decision to resign from my position as VP Welfare and Equal Opportunities at Oxford SU. I have made this decision as I want to focus on my language studies before I enter my fourth year in the upcoming Michaelmas term.

My experience in this role has been so valuable to me, and I really appreciate the opportunity I was given to support, represent, and advocate for students during my time as VP Welfare and Equal Opportunities. I hope that some of the work I have done over the last year has made a positive impact on the experience of Oxford students during their time at university.

Thank you to everyone that put their trust in me and voted me into this role, I look forward to seeing what the next set of Sabbatical Officers will achieve during their year in office.

Keisha"
