The Oxford Safe Churches project hopes to give some transparency towards the wide range of beliefs found in Oxford churches, and offer LGBTQ+ people the resources to make informed decisions about where they want to go to Church. Attached below is a full report on the 'Attitudes Towards Queer Christians in Oxford Churches' conducted by the Oxford University LGBT-safe Churches Team. We aim for this information to be as accurate as possible, so please contact us at oxford.student.faith.action@gmx.co.uk if you feel we have misrepresented any of the churches listed. We are thrilled to announce that the Motion tabled at 7th Week Student Council 'A New Definition of Transphobia' has passed! LGBTQ+ Campaign have worked alongside several trans students within the university, as well as in consultation with the SU’s Womens* Campaign, for the past two terms to put together what we believe to be a much more detailed and accurate definition of transphobia, that will allow us to better support trans students when they are victim to transphobia, and to tackle transphobia in all its forms throughout our institution. The full definition can be found in the file below! For information on how you can lobby your own college to adopt this definition, please check out our facebook page!

A research report by the LGBTQ+ Campaign and OULGBTQ+ Society based on concerns bout the pastoral duties of College Heads towards their students and staff, specifically those from marginalised minority groups. We recommend the adoption of a variety of policies to ensure the University's commitment to promoting equality and diversity, and to give full meaning to the University's and College's equality policies.
