would you like to be a steward at oxford su'S BIGGEST EVENT OF THE YEAR?

If you would like to help out at the Freshers Fair this year as a Student Steward, we would love to hear from you. We couldn't run the event without our Stewards - they help us to ensure the event is safe, runs smoothly, and that all of our students and stallholders have the best experience.  

We have 15 positions available to Oxford Students only. The pay will be at the Oxford Living Wage (£12.49 per hour) and the hours will be approximately 8.30am - 6pm on Wednesday the 9th & Thursday the 10th of October 2024. There will also be some hours available on Tuesday the 8th of October to help with setting up. You will receive a 1hr lunch break on the days you work, and your lunch expenses will be covered by Oxford SU (up to £10). 

There will be a 1hr Steward induction session on Tuesday the 8th of October (time TBC). This session will also be paid and is mandatory.

Please also confirm your availability for the days of the Fair and the induction session. The deadline for applications is Monday the 2nd of September at 12 noon.

*Please be aware that in order to work for Oxford SU, you will need to provide your passport or other Right to Work documentation before your employment can commence. Please ensure that you will have the physical documents with you in Oxford for the induction day.
