We exist to challenge the unchallengeable, to scrutinise the prevailing orthodoxy. We want to bring out the arguments at the heart of our politics. In an age of sound-bites and half-truth, we invite political figures and allow them to express their full arguments, the nuances, the little asides and the caveats, while challenging the inconsistencies and asking the difficult questions.

Everyone has heard of the Oxford Union, Oxford's prestigious debating society where Britain's greats have debated, but the Union is not there to scrutinise public figures. Here at OxFPT, we believe in scrutiny and debate.
