We are thrilled to announce that the Motion tabled at 7th Week Student Council 'A New Definition of Transphobia' has passed! LGBTQ+ Campaign have worked alongside several trans students within the university, as well as in consultation with the SU’s Womens* Campaign, for the past two terms to put together what we believe to be a much more detailed and accurate definition of transphobia, that will allow us to better support trans students when they are victim to transphobia, and to tackle transphobia in all its forms throughout our institution.
